As many of you know, I was charged with several federal offenses related to work I did while at a company called Montana Cannabis. All of the original partners in Montana Cannabis have pled guilty to various federal charges related to medical marijuana activity except for Chris Williams, and his trial started today. I and several others related to the business were subpoenaed to testify today and did so in Helena. Chris’ attorney may yet call me back to testify further. I have written an MTCIA blog post about my involvement in the company and why I decided to plead guilty, but unfortunately I cannot post it until the trial is over, which may take several days (Chris’ attorney thinks it will take a full week). Once the trial has wrapped up, I will post my own story here so that members of the MTCIA can see what I did and what my reasons were for the decisions I made. I have always been an open book with respect to my work as a caregiver, and later as an advocate, and will continue answer all questions asked.
In the mean time, I ask that we all remain focused on defeating SB423, and I will post more information about the legal case any my involvement as soon as I can do so.

I’m sure this is a miserable, heart wrenching experience to be stuck in. I wish the best for you AND for Chris Williams. I hope we all come out of this as unscathed as possible.

People plead guilty out of fear because they stack the charges so high and give you maximum sentences people are too scared to fight. They don’t let you speak the truth . People read the fourteenth very carefully , the feds are not following it if they were medical marijuana would not be on their list of to do’s. They are in violation everytime they mess with a safe access point. The only time feds are to over ride state laws if the commerce clause is broken. We the People must take back our country the feds have too much the cat licked its ass with. They could not get me to shut up about cannabis curing cancer , I would go to jail for contempt but who gives a f*ck when you remain on your knees they win!
Thank you for the update. It is absolutely criminal what the government is doing. I am running as a Libertarian for Montana’s House District 26. I am also a medical marijuana patient and I have committed myself to the Libertarian philosophy of Freedom. I swear as long as I am alive, I will do all I can to restore this country to the free society that our founders intended. Keep us informed, we will not forget you.

In my opinion the “real conspiracy” involves a few high placed Montana Legislators. The true account of the 2011 Legislature, a legal review, will be released in the coming weeks.
Just a quick update everyone – I have been told I need to come back and testify for the defense tomorrow. Still can’t really talk about any of the substance. No doubt there will be some further news coverage!
